# MLS Property Scouting

Search across MLS status, listing price, or days on market.

The MLS data available in Property Search/Detail is updated weekly.

## MLS Status Searches

### "mls\_active" Filter

* find properties that are currently on the market
* this search will be missing any listings that don't have a matching county record (e.g. new construction)

## Listing Price Searches

The second way to search for MLS properties is by MLS Listing Price. The fields available are:

### "mls\_listing\_price" \[int] / "mls\_operator" \[string]

* mls\_listing\_price & mls\_operator must always be used together and do NOT work with other MLS list price fields such as mls\_listing\_price\_min/max

* if using mls\_listing\_price\_min/max, you should exclude mls\_listing\_price & mls\_operator

## Inferring Listing Date from Days on Market Search

* then take the current day and use a date math package such as moment.js to calculate the listing date based on the mlsDaysOnMarket value returned for each result

## Getting Agent Info and More Listing Data from Property Detail

Take the Property IDs or addresses from your Property Search result objects above and make an API Call to Property Detail (or Property Detail Bulk).

Inspect the response for the ".mlsHistory" array:
