Property Types — listing_property_type & property_sub_type

Two filters describe what kind of property a listing is, at two levels of granularity.

listing_property_type — the broad category

A small, fixed set of top-level categories. Case-insensitive; an array is OR (any listed type matches); unknown values return the nearest match plus the full list.

A typo — e.g. "RESIDENSHUL" — 400s with the nearest match and the full list above, since the catalog is small enough to spell out completely in the error itself.

property_sub_type — the specific type

A much finer-grained field sourced directly from the MLS feed — every distinct sub-type value seen across the index (~300 values, spanning residential, commercial, land, and specialty categories). Case-insensitive; casing differences never block a match ("duplex" resolves to the stored "Duplex"); genuinely unrecognized values get a "did you mean" against the real catalog.
